"PUBLIC SERVICE IS ABOUT PEOPLE—NOT POLITICS."

A Mother. A Professional. A Neighbor Committed to Serving Blount County.

"Blount County has been my home for more than 20 years. Through raising my family, building my career, and overcoming life’s challenges, this community has always been the foundation that kept us strong."

A Life Built in Blount County

Lisa came to Blount County with her two children, looking for a place where her family could grow and thrive. Four years later, this community welcomed two more blessings into her life, twin girls, and together they built their lives surrounded by the beauty, values, and people that make Blount County special.

As a mother of four, Lisa understands the importance of hard work, responsibility, and perseverance. Like many families in the community, they haven’t always had an easy life. After 25 years of marriage, she faced the challenges of becoming a single mother and later experienced the heartbreaking loss of her children’s father to COVID.

Through every challenge, Blount County remained their foundation. This community supported her family during difficult times, and that experience strengthened her belief in serving others with compassion, integrity, and dedication.

Experience Built on Accountability and Service

Lisa's professional career has always centered around responsibility, organization, and serving people well.

For more than 20 years, she worked as a paralegal, where she developed a strong attention to detail and a deep respect for accountability, accuracy, and professionalism. In the legal field, details matter, deadlines matter, and the people you serve matter.

Wanting to continue serving differently, Lisa transitioned into higher education administration. Through dedication and hard work, she advanced from Administrative Assistant to Assistant Registrar and ultimately Registrar.

In these roles, she was trusted to:

  • Manage complex records and processes
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Lead and support teams
  • Communicate clearly with students and families
  • Handle responsibilities with professionalism and care

These experiences prepared her to lead with transparency, organization, and accountability—qualities that are essential for the Blount County Trustee’s Office.

Why Public Service Matters

Lisa's not running because it’s the next step in a political career. She's running because of her belief that public service should always be about the people.

The residents of Blount County deserve a Trustee who is accessible, responsive, and committed to serving every citizen fairly and respectfully. Taxpayers deserve transparency, responsible financial stewardship, and an office that works for them—not around them.

As Trustee, she will bring:

  • Accountability
  • Fiscal responsibility
  • Clear communication
  • Compassionate service
  • A commitment to putting residents first

This campaign is about protecting the trust the public places in its elected officials and making sure every resident feels heard, respected, and valued.

"I have spent my career serving others—in courtrooms, in higher education, and in my community. Now, I’m ready to bring that experience, dedication, and heart to the Blount County Trustee’s Office.

I would be honored to earn your support and the opportunity to serve the people of Blount County."
